These candles were created in memory of Frost, a beloved female polar bear well known among locals and featured in several film productions.
Made from soy wax, with the addition of recycled wax from Svalbard Church, giving them a special local connection.
Each candle is placed on a flat stone collected from the surroundings of Longyearbyen and wrapped in biodegradable cellophane.

Every material we use has a story. Reindeer antlers shed naturally on Arctic tundra. Coal that’s 50 million years old. Spent cartridges from bear protection practice. Driftwood, resin, soy wax. Nothing is wasted – everything becomes something worth keeping.
We make things with our hands, in a small workshop at the edge of the world. Every piece leaves Svalbard and finds its way to someone, somewhere. We’ll never know most of those stories – but sometimes people share them with us. These are a few of our favourites.
