§ 1 — General Provisions

These Terms of Service govern the use of the online shop available at donido.art, operated by Donido Art Niko Saikkonen, a sole trader registered in Norway under Org.nr. 928 955 893.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. The Terms apply to all customers — both individual consumers and business buyers.

§ 2 — Definitions

  • Shop — the online shop available at donido.art.
  • Seller — Donido Art Niko Saikkonen, Vei 608 7, 9170 Longyearbyen, Norway.
  • Customer — any person placing an order through the Shop.
  • Consumer — a Customer purchasing for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Product — a handcrafted item available for purchase in the Shop.
  • Order — a Customer’s request to purchase one or more Products.
  • Sales Agreement — a contract concluded between the Customer and the Seller via the Shop.

§ 3 — Contact

You can reach us at any time by email: shop@donido.art. We do our best to respond as quickly as possible.

§ 4 — Technical Requirements

To use the Shop, you need a device with internet access and an up-to-date web browser. Placing an order requires a valid email address. The Shop uses cookies to ensure proper functionality.

§ 5 — Products and Prices

All Products are handcrafted by Donido Art in Svalbard, Norway, using responsibly sourced natural materials including reindeer antlers, Arctic coal, spent cartridges, driftwood, resin, and soy wax. Each piece is unique — slight variations in appearance are an inherent part of handmade craftsmanship and are not considered defects.

All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and include applicable taxes where required. Shipping costs are shown separately during the ordering process before you confirm your purchase.

The Seller reserves the right to change prices. However, the price valid at the time of placing the Order applies to that Order.

§ 6 — Placing an Order

To place an order:

  1. Browse the Shop and add Products to your cart.
  2. Proceed to checkout and enter your delivery address and contact details.
  3. Select your preferred shipping method and payment option.
  4. Review your order and confirm by clicking “Place order and pay”.
  5. You will receive an order confirmation by email.

A Sales Agreement is concluded at the moment you receive the order confirmation email from the Seller.

§ 7 — Payment Methods

The Shop accepts the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Klarna — pay now, pay later, or pay in instalments

Payment is due at the time of placing the order. Orders are processed after payment confirmation.

§ 8 — Shipping and Delivery

Products are shipped from Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway. Please note that Svalbard has unique customs and postal conditions — delivery times may be longer than standard international shipments.

Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and in the order confirmation. These are estimates only; actual delivery may vary depending on postal and customs processing times. The Seller is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs authorities, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping costs depend on the destination country and are displayed before order confirmation.

Risk of loss and damage to the Products passes to the Customer upon delivery.

§ 9 — Right of Withdrawal (Returns)

If you are a Consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the Sales Agreement within 14 days of receiving the Product, without giving any reason, in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations.

To exercise this right, notify us by email at shop@donido.art before the 14-day period expires. You must then return the Product within 14 days of notifying us. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Refunds — including the original shipping cost (standard rate) — will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned item or proof of return, using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Please note: The right of withdrawal does not apply to Products made to the Customer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised items.

§ 10 — Complaints and Warranty

All Products are new and handcrafted with care. The Seller is responsible for any defects or non-conformity of Products with the Sales Agreement in accordance with Norwegian consumer law.

If you receive a defective or damaged Product, please contact us at shop@donido.art as soon as possible. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos where possible.

Please keep in mind that natural variation in colour, texture, and appearance of organic materials (antler, coal, wood) is not a defect — it is what makes each piece unique.

We will respond to complaints without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from receipt.

§ 11 — Personal Data

The Seller processes personal data provided during the ordering process solely for the purpose of fulfilling the Sales Agreement — including shipping, payment processing, and customer communication. Data is not sold or shared with third parties except where necessary to fulfil your order (e.g. shipping carriers).

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. For any data-related enquiries, please write to shop@donido.art.

§ 12 — Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. For Consumers, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply where they provide greater protection.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly at shop@donido.art — we will do our best to find a fair solution. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be referred to the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) or the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

§ 13 — Final Provisions

The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms for reasons including changes in applicable law or changes in the Shop’s operations. Customers will be informed of any significant changes. The Terms valid at the time of placing an Order apply to that Order.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
